New York City Metrocard

Retro Poster from New York Metrocard

The legendary New York City MetroCard was discontinued on December 31, 2025. In my opinion, it was as much a symbol of the Big Apple as the Empire State Building. Anyone who agrees can preserve a memory of it with a poster or sticker.

Yosemite Nationalpark, Mono Lake & Lake Tahoe

Two eventful days full of contrasts: from the almost summery Mono Lake to light snowfall at the entrance to Yosemite National Park to the turquoise blue Lake Tahoe. A forgotten reservation completely turned our plans upside down – and made room for spontaneous experiences between Ellery Lake, Yosemite Valley, and Tahoe City. Capricious weather, dry waterfalls, and unforgettable views made this stage of our road trip unique once again.

The rock formations of Bryce Canyon

After a lot of barren, but equally impressive salt lake landscape, we now head to Bryce Canyon. Once again, the landscape changes dramatically.

Lots of salt, little water

Two days around the Great Salt Lake in Utah. We take a look around Salt Lake City and drive to the salt-covered plains east of Salt Lake City.
